Simpson Strong-Tie ECB88HDG ECB™ Hot-Dip Galvanized 2-in. Standoff Column Base for 8x8 (Pack of 4)

The Simpson Strong-Tie® ECB elevated column base for hollow columns or solid-sawn posts makes it easy to install waterproofing material on stacked balconies in multi-family buildings. It’s the only post base available off the shelf that features a 2-in. standoff, providing enough room for moisture barrier material and a thin finish surface while still allowing for the 1-in. code-required standoff to prevent post decay. There are two model sizes available, suitable for either 6x6 or 8x8 posts.

This Simpson product is designed for construction, connector, fastening, anchoring, and structural applications where dependable performance, durability, and jobsite-ready installation matter.
