Simpson Strong-Tie ECCQ44SDS2.5-R ECCQ™ End Column Cap for 4x Beam, 4x Post, with Strong-Drive® SDS Screws

Simpson Strong-Tie® column caps come in a variety of sizes to accommodate any project, generally eliminating the need for additional brackets or braces. The ECCQ™ is designed to provide strong column-beam connections in end-of-beam applications in wood construction. The seat of the column cap provides an additional surface area of bearing that extends beyond the side of the column. The extended bearing surface helps distribute the load from the beam and provide support for the connection. The ECCQ uses Strong-Drive® SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws for fast installation and to attach to a greater net section area of the column than a bolt attachment normally entails.

This Simpson product is designed for construction, connector, fastening, anchoring, and structural applications where dependable performance, durability, and jobsite-ready installation matter.
